You are loved. You are rescued. These are the first two of many powerful truths that we’ve spent some time wrestling with these past two days at CIY Move 2016 in Holland, MI. The themes of the week come from Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus.
We started with Ephesians 1:7-8 which says, “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us.”
Mark Christian, one of our speakers for the week put it this way, “You are the gift that God wants and He’s been working to get you back from the beginning.” You are loved and you have been rescued through the blood of Jesus.
We’ve stayed dry so far in Holland (which seems to not have been the case in Indianapolis this week), and it’s been really great to see the impact of the teaching and the opportunity to be together, in bringing our group of 23 students from 7 schools closer with Christ and closer with one another (especially as we join with 1800 students from all over the midwest). We’re continuing to anticipate and pray for God to MOVE in the days ahead this week.
