NEW SERIES: This Sunday!

“God bless you.” We say it all the time in all sorts of situations. But what does this little word “blessed” actually mean? Too often, we use it when we feel good and everything is going our way. But if this is our definition of being blessed, what happens when things aren’t picture perfect? Because ultimately, being blessed isn’t about the things we have or the way we feel. It’s about becoming who God is shaping us to be.

Join us this Sunday morning in The Vine, at 9:15 in the Chapel, as we launch a new 3-week series, BLESSED.

Marengo Cave Adventure

The Invisibles: PARENT CUE

We’re staring out a brand new series tomorrow called The Invisibles, and the PARENT CUE is up! Our goal is to come alongside parents to help students grow in their walk with Christ. This Parent Cue is specifically for you–to hear what students hear on Sunday mornings/evenings, and for you to be as well-equipped as possible to continue the conversations at home. It’s divided up into three sections: 1) Be a student of what they’re learning, 2) Be a student of your student, 3) Action Point.

Student-Lead-Worship Sunday: NOVEMBER 4th

Calling ALL STUDENTS & LEADERS!

We have a really exciting opportunity coming up! On Sunday, November 4th, we are leading Main Service at Chapel Rock, both at 9:15 & 11:00. Did you know that it takes a lot of people to make it all happen, and you don’t see all of them from stage? People serve at the Welcome Center, make coffee and visit with people in the Connection Corner, greet visitors at all of the entrances, usher people to seats and hand out the bulletin, serve on the praise team, serve communion and help with the offering plates, and a LOT more. Well, on November 4th, ALL of those roles will be filled by YOU!

Come to The Vine this Sunday to fill out a card of where you’d like to serve. We need ALL of you! You can sign up on your own or in the same area as your small group. And just imagine . . . we get the chance to serve our congregation and be apart of the LARGER story here at Chapel Rock.

Jr. High Journey: Day 1

All day we’ve been hearing that in order to join God in what He is doing, we need to MERGE our story with His. In other words, our identity can only be in Jesus… not sports, friends, grades, stuff, or anything else. Jesus is the only One who can satisfy us.

Here’s some photos of our fun today. Can you guess what actual shapes are our students are in? Hint: one of them is a well-known statue.

Jr. High Journey: Night One

We arrived safely last night and had an awesome time in our first main session. We got to hear from lots of different people all about how God has always been moving towards us. From the beginning of time, God has always been pursuing His people and wanting a relationship with them.

We have a full day today, full of workshops, a group activity, hearing from Mission Indy, and getting to worship God together as we discover how much God loves us. Pray for our day together–that we will hear what He has to say to us.

Will post some more photos this afternoon!
