Jake thought he’d order something “light.”
Month: July 2010
On our way home!
We stopped by the showers on our way out of town because we smelled fuuuuuunky. Now that we’re all fresh and clean it’s time to hit the road. Indiana here we come!
Another blog-worthy photo
This morning, some of the more intense hikers went up to see a snow-covered beach… in July. Too bad they forgot iceskates.
The rest of us were in our sleeping bags. 🙂
Senior Trip: Day Nine
We made it… barely. Stuart fell asleep at lunch, if that tells you anything.
Senior Trip: Day Eight
It’s not every day you can wake up and say “Let’s go climb a mountain!” and really mean it. We spent the night in the Tetons last night and now we’re on our way to the hardest adventure yet. Till next time… we hope.
Senior Trip: Day Six
Saw some more wildlife today! It’s our last night camping in Yellowstone and tomorrow we are moving onto the Tetons. I’ll try to post a video later!
Senior Trip: Day Five
Today we’re going backpacking in the back country of Yellowstone (and really hope we don’t encounter a Grizzly). Don’t worry, Jake Boodt and Nick Dillinger are in charge of the bear mace. We probably won’t have signal until Sunday. For now, enjoy the lovely picture of Amy Crow and the scenery behind her. Till next time…
Senior Trip: Day Four in Yellowstone
And… we’ve arrived.
Senior Trip: Day Three
We’re heading off on Day Three of our trip together. Last night we took a gorgeous hike around the Badlands, went through a bit of Matthew together, and slept underneath the stars; it was truly breathtaking. We are certainly not going hungry–we woke up and chowed down on biscuits, gravy, Tang, and coffee.
Today we’re on our way to Yellowstone, so we have another travel day ahead of us. We’ve certainly been loving our time together and are all anticipating the adventures ahead. Until next time…
